2.14 2022 New HERS Rater Training - Existing Raters (ConSol)


Description
This is the fundamental course all new California HERS Rater applicants must take. At completion of this online course and in-field training, you will be certified to provide HERS testing for New Construction and Alteration projects. Subjects in this course include:

Legal Aspects of the HERS Profession
Rater & Job Safety
Title 24 Overview
Basics of Building Science
HERS Diagnostic Inspections
CHEERS Registry Training

This course has practice quizzes between modules and a final exam at the end. After completing the course with a passing rate of 80% or higher, you will schedule the field portion of your training with CHEERS field training staff.

EPA 608 certification is required prior to taking the field portion of this training. Contact your local HVAC distributor to take the proctored exam.
